This film delves into the intricate relationship between two brothers, Julian and David. Despite receiving a terminal prognosis in 2016, Julian has defied the initial estimations of his lifespan. Through the interviews we conducted, it became evident that both brothers are open and willing to discuss the profound love they share. This love, however, often comes under scrutiny from other men, presenting a stark contrast to the parental advice they received in their younger years.
Produced in-house for Macmillan Cancer Support during the lockdown period from February to June 2020, this film serves as a continuation of a series initiated the previous year. It explores how various facets of masculinity can influence one's experience with a cancer diagnosis.
